Allison Kwong, MD, is a transplant hepatologist who specializes in the care of patients with chronic liver disease. Her clinical and research interests include cirrhosis, portal hypertension, and outcomes before and after liver transplantation. Her research in alcohol-associated liver disease has been supported by the AASLD Foundation Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research Award and a NIAAA K23 Mentored Career Development Award. She serves as a representative on the OPTN Liver & Intestine Committee and as an associate editor for the American Journal of Transplantation.
