Xiao Jing (Iris) Wang, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Comprehensive/general GI group and is the Associate Program Director of the GI fellowship. In addition to general gastroenterology, her areas of clinical focus include Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBI), including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), functional dyspepsia (FD), and chronic abdominal pain. Her research is focused on the pathophysiology of DGBI disorders, testing of pharmaceutical and nonpharmaceutical therapies, including hypnotherapy, digital therapy, and extended reality therapeutics.
