Sachin Wani, MD

Sachin Wani, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and serves as the Vice-Chair in the Division of GI and Hepatology. He is the Medical Director of the Esophageal and Gastric Center and also serves as the co-Director of the GI Outcomes Research Group. Dr. Wani is the Katy O. and Paul M. Rady Endowed Chair in Esophageal Cancer Research. His research has focused on various aspects related to Barrett’s esophagus and esophageal adenocarcinoma, outcomes research in interventional endoscopy and training in endoscopy. His research is funded by National Institute of Health, GI societies, University of Colorado and industry.
