Sameer K. Berry, MD, MBA, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of Healthcare Economics Research in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine. His major research interests are measuring costs of complex subspecialty care, particularly novel approaches to claims methodology, and the validation of digital health technologies. Dr. Berry is also the Chief Medical Officer at Oshi Health, a virtual GI clinic providing multidisciplinary care. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and advanced training in IBD endoscopy at the Cleveland Clinic.
