Moamen Gabr, MD, FACG, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, where he serves as the Associate Division Director of Clinical Gastroenterology and the Program Director for the Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship. His clinical and research interests focus on advanced interventional endoscopy, including pancreatico-biliary diseases, EUS-guided interventions, endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), per-oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), and the early detection and minimally invasive, incisionless resection of GI cancers. Previously, Dr. Gabr was the Director of the Endoluminal Surgery Program and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where he played a pivotal role in advancing minimally invasive endoscopic techniques. He is recognized for his contributions to the development of innovative endoscopic equipment that enhance procedural safety and efficiency. Dr. Gabr is a Fellow of the ACG and ASGE.
