Sita Chokhavatia, MD, MACG, is a practicing Gastroenterologist at the Valley Hospital in Paramus,NJ, as part of the Valley Medical Group within the Valley Health System. Her clinical and research interests include geriatric gastroenterology, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastrointestinal dysmotility, colorectal cancer screening, and women’s gastrointestinal health. Her publications include original research and review articles, and book chapters in gastroenterology journals and texts. She is actively involved in the community health programs. She has served on several ACG committees, and currently serves as the Chair, ACG Board of Governors.
