Yuji Ino, MD, is a gastroenterologist specializing in therapeutic endoscopy, with a particular focus on endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). Over the course of his clinical career, he has performed more than 1,000 ESD procedures for both upper and lower gastrointestinal lesions, including esophageal, gastric, and colorectal tumors. His extensive hands-on experience has contributed to improved patient outcomes and the advancement of minimally invasive treatment strategies. Dr. Ino is currently affiliated with the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Internal Medicine, Jichi Medical University, in Tochigi, Japan. In addition to his clinical practice, he is actively involved in endoscopic training, education, and research. His academic interests include ESD technique development, post-ESD management, and long-term outcomes of endoscopic therapy. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and frequently presents at national and international conferences. Through a combination of clinical excellence, research activity, and mentorship, Dr. Ino continues to contribute to the evolution of gastroenterological care, particularly in the field of endoscopic oncology.
