Baldeep Pabla, MD, graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then earned his medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago before returning to Vanderbilt for his Gastroenterology and IBD training. He started at Vanderbilt on faculty in 2020 where he sees patients at the Vanderbilt Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center. He interests include medical education, improving patient outcomes, and the use of point of care intestinal ultrasound for the monitoring of disease activity in patients with IBD.
