This year, Ambu introduced the world's first single-use therapeutic gastroscope, the aScope™ Gastro Large, with its 4.2 mm working channel and powerful suction, expanding the company’s single-use portfolio for upper gastroenterology (GI) procedures and enabling physicians to address an extended range of needs across the ICU, OR and endoscopy suite. Ambu also obtained FDA clearance for its new generation aScope™ Duodeno 2 for use in ERCP procedures.  
 
In the past, we provided a way to maintain or restore breathing in any environment with the world’s first self-inflating resuscitator, the Ambu® Bag™, which is still in use today. More recently, we responded to a need for an endoscopy solution that is always available. The result? Ambu® aScope™, the world’s first sterile, single-use flexible endoscope.
