When physicians decided they needed a reliable way to measure adenoma detection rate, the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) worked together to create the GI Quality Improvement Consortium (GIQuIC). GIQuIC is a clinical data registry currently collecting data on colonoscopies, EGDs, and IBD.
