Jennifer Phan, MD, is a board certified gastroenterologist with specialized training in advanced endoscopic procedures. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship followed by an additional advanced endoscopy fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she was awarded multiple teaching awards and initiation into the ACG Young Physician Leadership Scholars Program. She currently sits as the Medical Director of the Hoag Irvine Advanced Endoscopy Center, Director of Bariatric Endoscopy, and the Co-Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the Hoag Digestive Health Institute. She specializes in the management of pancreaticobiliary disease through use of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), removal of large polyps through endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and dissection (ESD), and has special research and clinical focus in the management of patients with obesity and diabetes through gastric plication procedures (ESG, TORE) and duodenal resurfacing technology.
