Thomas Tielleman, MD

Thomas Tielleman, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and the Director of Endoscopy and Therapeutic Endoscopy at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He specializes in ESD, POEM, ERCP, EUS, ablation therapies, and a variety of other advanced endoscopic procedures. In addition to a traditional advanced endoscopy fellowship, Dr. Tielleman has undergone additional advanced training in the field of third space endoscopy with Japanese masters including training and proctoring. Dr. Tielleman’s areas of nonclinical focus include developing simulation and hands-on endoscopy training for the UT Southwestern Gastroenterology Fellowship as well as research into therapeutic endoscopy outcomes.
