Fumisato Sasaki, MD, PhD, is a Fellow of the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES), councilor, and board-certified trainer and specialist. Dr. Sasaki is a Committee Member for the Guidelines on Sedation in Endoscopic Practice, and for the Guidelines on Endoscopic Treatment of Upper GI Strictures. Dr. Sasaki is a Councilor and board-certified Trainer and Specialist of the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology, as well as a delegate and board-Certified trainer and specialist in Gastroenterology of the Japanese Gastroenterological Association, and a councilor of the Japan Esophageal Society. Dr. Sasaki is also an ASGE member, and has served as faculty on the ASGE-JGES ESD Hands-on Seminar (2022, 2023).
