Established in 2025, the ACG Trailblazer lecturer is a distinguished individual in the field of medicine, gastroenterology, or hepatology who has done groundbreaking work who is recognized as a pioneer in the field or in the life of the College. The presenter is chosen by the President and Course Directors of the Postgraduate Program and is subject to approval by the Board of Trustees. This newly established lectureship replaces The David Sun Lectureship in Postgraduate Education (1977-2024).
